Biography:
Prof. Banerjee is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and holds a chair in Cariology & Operative Dentistry at King’s College London, in which he has an international reputation in education, laboratory / clinical translational research and primary care clinical policy development.
He was awarded the prestigious WH Bowen Caries Research Distinguished Scientist Award from IADR in 2022, in recognition of the global impact of his Cariology & MI operative research over the last 25 years.
The latest version of his universally acclaimed UG/PG textbook has just been published by Elsevier – A Clinical Guide to Advanced Minimum Intervention Restorative Dentistry (2024).
He is an Honorary Consultant Advisor to the OCDO England, where he develops clinical caries management guidelines using the minimum intervention oral care framework for primary care oral health delivery.
