Reverse the irreversible
Biodentine™
The first all-in-one dentine substitute to fully replace dentine, both in the crown and in the root.
Biodentine preserves pulp vitality and can be placed directly on the pulp. Thanks to the formation of hydroxyapatite, mineralization process, Biodentine creates a tight seal within the dentine tubules as well as dentinal bridge.
Biodentine can be placed directly on the pulp and living tissues, ensuring no risk of tissue/pulp reaction, thanks to the high purity of tricalcium silicate and the resin-free formula.
Biodentine can replace the dentine both in the crown and in the root and reduces the risk of secondary caries, thanks to the creation of mineral tags in the dentine tubules.
Biodentine has the same mechanical properties than dentin and similar mechanical behaviour than dentine.
The alkaline pH limits bacterial growth, helping to decrease post-operative pain and reducing the risk of secondary decays.

The setting time is in average 12 min after the mix.
Yes, you can apply Biodentine directly on the pulp.
Biodentine is creamy, white color.
The powder is composed of tricalcium silicate, zirconium oxide, calcium oxide, calcium carbonate and iron oxides pigment.
The aqueous solution is composed of calcium chloride and polycarboxylate.
Biodentine should be mix with a mixer to obtain the adequate consistency and optimal performances of the product. Biodentine cannot be mixed by hand. The examples of mixing devices are provided in the Instruction for use.
Biodentine should be handled with the instrument supplied in the box (spatula). Depending on the desired application, you may handle Biodentine with an amalgam carrier, a spatula (different from the one supplied) or a Root Canal Messing Gun.
None of the ingredients of Biodentine are an evident source of gluten.
